Privacy Policy

In short: Barcode Scanner has no account, advertisements, analytics or cloud upload. Scan records remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
Information we collect
The developer does not collect, receive, sell or share your IMEI, serial number, product model, colour, quantity, session reference or scan-time data. The app does not require an account.
Camera use
Camera access is used only to recognise supported barcodes in the live preview. Barcode Scanner does not save or upload photographs, video or audio.
Information stored locally
Scanned identifiers and the product details you enter are stored only in the app on your device. The app works offline.
Exports, sharing and backups
Files or text leave the app only when you choose Export, Share, Copy or Backup. The destination app or service you select then handles that information under its own privacy terms. You are responsible for protecting exported and backup files.
Retention and deletion
The app keeps active sessions and the last 10 completed sessions on your device. You can edit individual records, delete a session, or use Delete all scans in the Privacy & Data screen. Model presets remain available. Backup files remain wherever you saved them until you delete them.
Permissions
Barcode Scanner requests camera access for scanning. It does not request microphone, location, contacts, phone-call or account access.
Children
This business inventory utility is not directed to children and is not designed for use by children.
